Gladstone Gander and Magica de Spell

For this fan art drawing, I was inspired by the endearing Magicstone fan comics of Modmad as well as the 2017 DuckTales series, both of which I discovered only earlier this year. I present my take on the comically lucky goose Gladstone Gander and the scheming duck sorceress Magica de Spell.

Figuring out my design for these two anthropomorphic waterfowl proved to be quite a challenge. I ended up straying close to the character designs used in the 2017 DuckTales series, while constantly referring back to the beautiful art of Modmad, Natssketche, and Blue Hive. I highly recommend checking out their work!
